Huatulco, on the southern Pacific coast of Oaxaca, is made up of 22 miles of coastline with 9 secluded bays and 36 pristine sandy beaches.

Sunshine and clear blue sky can be expected about 330 days a year with an average temperature of 28?C (82?F). Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, lush tropical vegetation and the Sierra Madre Mountains, Huatulco is often referred to as Mexico's secret paradise.

In 2005 Huatulco was the first sustainable tourist community in the Americas and the 3rd worldwide to be awarded the prestigious GREEN GLOBE International Certification for sustainability.
